Hi everyone,  i have been trying to figure out how to become a bondsman.  but not sure how to go about it.  i found this class ( Pre-Licensing Education
As per R. S.  22:1191 (E)(3) of the Louisiana Revised Statutes, submission of completion of eight (Cool hours of pre-licensing education is required. ) not sure if it is a scam or if you really need to take class or not.  if anyone could help me out i would greatly appreciate it

ok i have found out that the class is legit but man i didnt think it would take this much effort just to find out the info.  and the louisiana insurance application is rediculous i dont even know where to begin.  but more than anything i am wondering if im wasting my time with this forum.  well hopefully not.  but for anyone who was wanting to know how to go about it this is what i have found so far. .

1.  take pre-licensing course ($300-$500)
2.  complete and submit state producer ap 1136A i belive it is $75  here
3.  complete and submit state license app & exam from thomas-prometric not sure of cost
4.  schedule a test date with thomas-prometric

so far thats all i have i may be incorrect and if i am please let me know because im doing this with no help from a bondsman
