I would say r-pe happens more often in poor communities for a wide range of reasons that would not exist if the individual was wealthier.
Drug use, the individual has been abused themselves, can't afford nice things to impress or court the woman, on and on. I am in no way excusing the crime.
I do see a definite correlation between bodies of wealth and bodies of crime though. As well as the types of crimes.
George Bush told Americans lies to get us into a war that cost thousands of innocents lives. He has not received any punishment and a lot of people love him.
BP spilled oil into the gulf, changing the environment for generations to come. Destroying entire communities. Do you think that anyone will do time?
I don't want to get to off subject but my point is over and over whites commit crimes that only a cold hearted spineless bum would commit and receive no punishment.
I thing poorer communities need better parenting. Many are trying to raise kids alone and the cycle repeats. If you have no safety net or someone to help you get back up you end up lost, with little to no hope. Many in this situation compromise to survive.
